Your friendly neighborhood IT club

spoofIT is the official IT club for The University of Ontario Institute of Technology, Durham College, and Trent in Oshawa. It is our goal to both educate and entertain all information technology interested students. To that end, we host several expert speaker and social events every semester.

Winter-2010 Events

TwitterWe have planned our final event for the winter term, see details to the left. Also, follow us on Twitter for the latest updates or contact info@spoofit.ca and request to be put on our low volume mailing list.

Potential Speakers

Are you an IT or computer security expert within driving distance of Oshawa? Want to share your knowledge with eager university and college students? If you can give an informative presentation on: forensics, social engineering, cryptography, the security industry, or any other relevant topic; then we'd love to hear from you. Please contact info@spoofit.ca for further details.

Steering Meetings

Have an idea? We meet on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month at 2pm in room UL105 (affectionately termed 'the broom closet'). These meetings last about 30 minutes and are used to plan future events and activities. While all are welcome to come, these meetings are not intended as a social event.
